Ramical Donates 1 Million Yuan to South China Agricultural University to Establish Pet Science Innovation Fund

During the celebration of the 115th anniversary of South China Agricultural University (SCAU), Ramical donated 1 million yuan to the College of Animal Science to establish a Pet Science Innovation Fund. This initiative aims to advance research and innovation in the field of pet science and support the College's development in related areas.

Mr. Gu Chuipeng, Chairman of Ramical, held in-depth exchanges with Professor Xie Qingmei, Dean of the College of Animal Science at SCAU, and her team. Both parties expressed their commitment to further strengthening cooperation to jointly promote innovation and development in pet science and cultivate more outstanding talent for the pet industry.

Integrating Industry, Academia, and Research to Solidify Talent Cultivation in the Pet Industry
As a 26-year-old pet brand with dual-capability in both pet pharmaceuticals and pet food, Ramical consistently adheres to its philosophy of "Technology Leadership, Driven by Pharmaceuticals and Food," continuously building a solid foundation for innovation through its R&D infrastructure. The company currently operates three core production and R&D bases: the "Pet Food Production and R&D Base," the "Pet Pharmaceutical Production and R&D Base," and the "Canine and Feline Science Testing Center." Furthermore, in collaboration with South China Agricultural University, Ramical has established a Pet Nutrition Research Center, with its first implemented research project focusing on Ramical Gastrointestinal Care Diet for pets.

To date, Ramical has become a leader in the pet health industry, integrating R&D, production, and sales of pet food, pharmaceuticals, and nutritional supplements. Its professional R&D team comprises over 100 members, including 30 dedicated researchers for dog and cat food and more than 60 R&D engineers for pet pharmaceuticals.

The R&D scope covers multiple fields including nutrition, veterinary science, processing, and manufacturing. Led by PhD researchers, 80% of the team members hold postgraduate degrees. The R&D process involves comprehensive testing: all experiments are conducted in-house, progressing through small-scale trials, pilot-scale trials, multiple rounds of verification, market user experience trials or blind taste tests, and various stages of animal clinical/laboratory analyses.

Ramical's donation is intended to inject strong momentum into the College's scientific research development, dedicate efforts to cultivating more professionals for the pet industry, and assist them in scaling new heights in science. Looking forward, Ramical will continue to steadfastly promote the deep integration of industry, academia, and research, persistently provide support for research and innovation in the field of pet science, and jointly write a new chapter in the scientific development of the pet industry!
