Fluralaner and Moxidectin spot-on solution for cats

Pharmaceutical form

Clear colourless to yellow solution.
Indications
Antiparasiticproducts, insecticides and repellents, endectocides, milbemycins.
For cats with, or at risk from, mixed parasitic infestations by ticks or fleas and ear mites, gastrointestinal nematodes or heartworm. The veterinary medicinal product is exclusively indicated when use against ticks or fleas and one or more of the other target parasites is indicated at the same time.
For the treatment of tick and flea infestations in cats providing immediate and persistent flea and tick killing activity for 12 weeks. Fleas and ticks must attach to the host and commence feeding in order to be exposed to the active substance.
The product can be used as part of a treatment strategy for flea allergy dermatitis (FAD). For the treatment of infestations with ear mites, intestinal roundworm and hookworm. When administered repeatedly at a 12-week interval, the product continuously prevents heartworm disease caused by Dirofilaria immitis.
Dosage and administration

For spot-on use.
This product is available in three pipette sizes. This size of pipette can be used to the body weight of cats between 2.8kg to 6.25kg. (corresponding to a dose of 40-94 mg fluralaner/kg body weight and 2-4.7 mg moxidectin/kg body weight)

Within each weight band, the content of one whole pipette should be used. For cats more than 12.5 kg, use a combination of two pipettes that most closely matches the body weight.
Method of administration
For external use only.
Remove one pipette from the package. Then hold the pipette in an upright position, and twist and pull off the cap. Reverse the cap and use it to twist and remove the seal from the pipette.
Part the fur on the animal's neck at the base of the skull until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the pipette on the skin and squeeze the pipette firmly several times to empty its contents directly onto the skin.
Application at the base of the skull will minimise the opportunity for the animal to lick the product. Apply only to undamaged skin.
