Terbinafine Hydrochloride
【Pharmacodynamic properties】
Terbinafine hydrochloride is a broad-spectrum antifungal drug of the allylamine class. It can specifically interfere with the early biosynthesis of fungal sterols, selectively inhibit the ergostene epoxidase of fungi, and hinder the ergostene epoxidation reaction during the formation of fungal cell membranes, thereby achieving the effect of killing or inhibiting fungi.
【Indications】
Dermatologicals products. For the treatment of dermatosis associated with Microsporum canis, Microsporum gypsum, and Trichophyton mentagrophytes.
【Dosage and administration】
For external use. The recommended dose level of the product is 3 squeezes of the application pump two times per day, for 28 days.
Spray from a distance of about 10 cm for 5 cm x 5 cm and from a distance of about 30 cm for about 10 cm x10 cm area of skin to be treated. Before the application of product the hair or dirt on the treated surface has to be removed.
