2. Physical Characteristics
The product is a white to light yellow oily suspension.
3. Pharmacological Action
Cefquinome is a β-lactam class antibiotic with bactericidal activity by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis. It has a broad spectrum of antimicrobial activity and is resistant to β-lactamases and penicillinases. In vitro tests show that the product effectively inhibits common pathogens causing mastitis in dairy cows, including Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp., Escherichia coli, and Corynebacterium pyogenes.
4. Indications
A β-lactam antibiotic used for the treatment of mastitis in lactating cows caused by susceptible microorganisms.
5. Dosage and Administration
Intracisternal administration: Administer one dose into the infected quarter of the udder after milking. The interval between administrations is 12 hours. Treatment course: 3 doses.
6. Adverse Reactions
Allergic reactions may occur in animals.
7. Precautions
Contraindicated in animals sensitive to β-lactam antibiotics.
Individuals allergic to penicillins or cephalosporins should avoid contact with the product.
Shake well before use.
Gently massage the udder after administration to ensure even distribution of the product.
If stored below -20°C for more than 12 hours, allow the product to reach room temperature for 20 minutes before use.

Milk withdrawal period: 96 hours.
